Race Car

This car has has been in service for 25 years with sealed engines and transmissions.  You can buy  a new one assembled and set up for about $32,000.  It will do 135 MPH and handle lateral accelerations of over 1.3 Gs.  The cars have, as a group, over 2.5 million miles of competition racing without a single fatality.

This means that it is safe and if someone else beats you on the track that they are a better driver.  The competition is fierce and it is a momemtum car.  With little acceleration power that means that you must carry the maximum speed possible throught the corners to be competitive.
