2008 Highlights

This was my first year to get back in racing. I started with an SCCA Autocross in January and followed it up with others in February and March. I went to my first SCCA driving school in April at Daytona. I was so out of control that I almost didn't go back for the second day. Of course I missed the red flag exercise. I got to attend the SVTOA Sebring weekend and drive the Shelby with an instructor. I took the second drivers school at Homestead in June. By the time the year was done I had participated in 5 SCCA club races, 2 HPDEs, and 8 Solo II Autocross events. My total racing seat time for 2008 was 12 hours and 41 minutes.
