I am racing at Roebling Road in Savanna the weekend of July 1-3. It will be my first time at the track but I've got a test day on Friday so I can figure out which way to turn.
I will be a driving instructor for the July SCCA Performance Driving Experience at Sebring during July. Many folks have said that this is actually more dangerous that a real race as you are on the passenger side with no fire suit, roll cage, brake pedal, or HANS device with someone on the drivers side that has, in most cases, way more driving confidence than they should. It should be fun.
The big event this summer is racing in my first International Grand Prix in Montreal in early August. I have entered into the Spec Racer Ford Pro Racing Series and there are two races #5 and #6 being held during the Grand Prix. Check out their web site at http://www.gp3r.com/en.html as this is way cool. We will be one of the starting warm up races preceeding Indy Lights, a Mazda Start Series, along with touring cars and a NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race on Sunday.
